On June 15th, El Jardí Sonor 2025 kicked off with an immersive music experience unlike any other. Set in the breathtaking Parc Samà in Cambrils, the event wove together sound, landscape, and memory.

On Sunday, June 15th, 2025, the 6th Edition of El Jardí Sonor festival opened in the breathtaking Parc Samà in Cambrils, a romantic, historic 14-hectare garden filled with lush vegetation, a modernist house, and a serene lake. It’s a setting that invites wonder and serves as the perfect stage for a late afternoon musical experience.

The evening was headlined by the Barcelona-based duo Eva Sola, formed in 2022 by Eva Menéndez and Albert Solà. Known for their unique blend of pop, electronic, folk, soul, and jazz. Their concert offered an intimate and emotional journey in a laid-back “afternoon and chill” format, attended by approximately lucky 150 guests.

The performance unfolded as a truly immersive experience: delicate and emotive music intertwined with the magical surroundings, accompanied by the calls of free-roaming peacocks and other rare birds, native to the park. The atmosphere evoked a voyage to colonial Cuba, the inspiration behind Parc Samà’s exotic flora and island-like design.

An unforgettable moment came when Eva and Albert set aside their microphones and amplifiers to step into the middle of the audience and continue singing a cappella. That moment of aesthetic communion, pure voice amidst the crowd, was described as one of raw beauty and deep emotional connection.

This opening chapter of El Jardí Sonor 2025 reaffirmed the festival’s mission: to offer experiences where music engages in dialogue with heritage, nature, and emotion. Without a doubt, Parc Samà revealed its full charm as the starting point of a cultural cycle that promises to continue moving and surprising audiences throughout the summer with talented artists in unforgettable venues.
